The website now shows a message from Sören (abraxa). The hoster has lost some of the project's data. Regarding the status of the project, I think https://github.com/sigrokproject/libsigrok/graphs/contributors sums it up pretty well. But regardless of the development, people will continue to use it, since there is no better alternative.
