With the current version Sikuli needs the machine to create "real"
screen content to process the visual features. So if Sikuli runs on a
"headless" machine, it will fail.
I remember that there is at least one answer in this Q&A, that claimed
to have it running with a special ?VNC? configuration, but I am not
sure. Try to find it
