Tsung-Hsiang Chang proposed the following answer:
1. use self. globalvar to access that "global variable" (which is not actually
global, but a class attribute).
2. Unit testing framework doesn't know what parameters needed to pass into the
test* methods. You can create your own functions with arbitrary parameters and
call them from the test* methods.
