RaiMan proposed the following answer:
--- The images captured in the IDE using the capture button are stored in the
script folder .sikuli.
For scripts in a new tab (not yet saved, this is in a temp folder), so it is
always a good idea, to save a script.
get the current path:
print getBundlePath()
--- The images returned by a capture() are stored in the temp directory.
use
print capture()
to find out, where it is on your machine.
If you want to have the captured image files in a special folder, use
import shutil
import os
myImages = "some absolute path to a folder"
shutil.move(capture(), os.path.join(myImages, "some-name.png"))
