I thought the examples described here:

("Importing from the same directory") were also valid for 10.2 ?
Unfortunately, the modules I want to import contain images.
Any way, I went through the release notes of 10.2 and found out that some
functions I wrote in 1.rc2 won't work on this system. Therefore would have to
upgrade, right?
