I do not really understand your intention.

have a look at xlrd (http://pypi.python.org/pypi/xlrd) which can be imported
and used in Sikuli scripts.
Download the zip version and copy the contained directory xlrd somewhere (no
need to do a Python install!).
In your script:
dir_xlrd = "path to the directory containing the folder xlrd"
if not dir_xlrd in sys.path: sys.path.append(dir_xlrd)
from xlrd import *
