RaiMan proposed the following answer:
Currently there is no feature in Sikuli to "ignore" background.
Try to capture as little of the background as possible (this reduces the
impact on overall similarity).
BTW: all Sikuli features use the same find operation internally, so all
functions relying on visual objects have the same behavior.
