j posted a new comment: I sometimes have the problem that the IDE is not starting but hangs at startup. This could be the case if one of your scripts that you had open before closing the IDE the last time (sikuli tries to restore them at startup) has images that cannot be resolved (e.g. in your script there is a "example.png" but sikuli can't find the image in the sikuli-file-directory). Try renaming or moving the folder containing your .sikuli files so that sikuli-ide can't find them anymore. Your IDE should then open normally without any scripts opened.
