Since you cannot see, what these people are doing really:
could be something like this:
- run an app, that plays music on a loudspeaker, that is different from the
speaker used with the chat app
- switch off the chat app's speaker
- open the mic for the chat app
additionally some automation for the chat app might be necessary.
But seriously:
You have to look, wether and how your app accepts some audio input.
The other possibility: use a utility (ask Google ;-), that internally redirects
the micro input to an audio file
