RaiMan proposed the following answer:
If it is a bad shot (much background compared to the key visual
aspects), then the similarity score might be low (near 0.7) and on
script run it might be below 0.7 and fails.
optimize your shot and test it with
print find(img)
which shows you the score (good shots have scores above 0.9)
