with current version, you have to use a Java feature
import javax.swing.JOptionPane as JOP
answer = JOP.showConfirmDialog(None, "some informative text", "Pls. decide!",
JOP.YES_NO_OPTION)
if answer == JOP.YES_OPTION:
print "it was a YES"
else:
print "it was a NO"
