RaiMan proposed the following answer:
you need OpenCV 2.1 on the machine.
You might try a hack instead (but might not work though, because 2.1 not
compatible with 2.4):
in the custom lib folder (usually /usr/local/lib ) you should find the opencv
libs ....2.4.4
make symbolic links for the missing 2.1 modules to the respective modules 2.4
