according to http://symbolcodes.tlt.psu.edu/accents/codealt.html
the ° symbol is ALT+NUM1+NUM7+NUM6
so this should produce 248°
with the command window having focus:
type("248")
type(Key.NUM1+Key.NUM7+Key.NUM6, KeyModifier.ALT)
