Windows 7: X 1.0rc3 : Sometimes IDE hangs on launch

Bug description:
1. X 1.0rc3
2. 32 bit

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start IDE
2. 'javaw' is in the list of processes but IDE does not appear.
3. Sikuli tries to load recent project and hangs
4.
Workaround:
1. If we rename the folder of recent project all is ok - IDE will appear
2. also workaround is to delete appropriate values in windows registry for
the recent project folder value
Other info:
UAC is disabled
It seems like problem is in loading images instead of "<filename>.png", maybe
when image name is referenced but not available the issue occurs, don't know
