RaiMan proposed the following answer:
at 1: not needed with version 1.0.1 (but do no harm ;-)
at 2: I can promise "no impact" with a probability of 95%
at 3: setup internally tries to access my dropbox to download the stuff. It
seems, that this is blocked on your system.
