RaiMan proposed the following answer: I wanted to get rid of the Env class. (Java programmers know how to do things, so these functions as Jython API should be in Sikuli.py, so no xxx. is needed there) The App class is not really application specific, it is more something like a helper to act with applications and their windows. Hence for clipboard handling it is a better place, than any other existing class.
