Question #243683 on Sikuli changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/243683
Summary changed to: [1.0.1] tessdata folder not found at … at first Sikuli usage after setup - workaround Description changed to: **** workaround ---------------------------------------- - delete the libs folder in the setup folder - run the Sikuli stuff again (the same that you did before - NOT the setup!) - the folder libs should be recreated including the tessdata folder --- fixed in 1.1.0 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I installed SikuliX-1.0.1 on a Window machine. I had to do the offline installation as the automatic download of the relevant jars are failing for me (probably due to security restrictions). As mentioned in the README, I copied 1.0.1-1, 1.0.1-9 and 1.0.1-5 jars into the Downloads folder and ran runSetup.cmd. The installation is done in the directory H:\sikuli_new I have turned on 'allow searching for text' and 'allow OCR' via the Preferences in IDE. Now when I try to run some test, it is failing with the message: [error] TextRecognizer: init: tessdata folder not found at H:/sikuli_new/libs/ [error] Region.find(text): text search is now switched off There is no folder called tessdata under H:\sikuli_new\libs. Do I need to download some files (related to Tesseract ?) to get the offline installation working with text search ? -- You received this question notification because you are a member of Sikuli Drivers, which is an answer contact for Sikuli. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~sikuli-driver Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~sikuli-driver More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
