RaiMan proposed the following answer:
instead of click(image)
use
click(wait(image, time))
where time is a value in seconds greeter than the greatest possible
value.
in your case e.g.
click(wait(image,60))
so it will wait max 60 seconds, but comes back immediately, if the image
appears earlier.
