New question #246036 on Sikuli: https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/246036
Background: From: https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/171350 look docs: http://sikuli.org/docx/region.html#extracting-text-from-a-region (and bug 710586) .... I tried finding the linked document - but it looks like the link has broken. Are there any walkthrough's for how to use a text-grabbing-from-region? For example, if on google's front page, if I wanted to obtain the words "I'm Feeling Lucky" and then paste them into an excel - how would I do that? I can use the find function to obtain a region (for example get a screengrab of the I'mFeelingLucky button), but I'm not sure how to obtain the text out of the image. Final note - I know that there are some OCR issues, etc. But I don't know how to do the simple task of pulling out the text out of the region - I've read through all the documentation on the "everything about Sikuli script" page in regard to regions & text but I couldn't seem to figure it out on my own (with no background in programming). Also, I have a question in regard to pulling in public scripts, etc. but I will log another question. -- You received this question notification because you are a member of Sikuli Drivers, which is an answer contact for Sikuli. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~sikuli-driver Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~sikuli-driver More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
