RaiMan proposed the following answer:
- open your projects properties
- select tab Run/Debug Settings
- select the (only) Launch configuration
- click Edit
- select tab Arguments
- in the textfield VM Arguments enter
-Dsikuli.Debug=3
click Apply - OK - OK
… and run your project
