Firstly, to get it out of the way: I'm just an average teen who has absolutely no idea what is going on or how to use scripts but is trying to use one to look for class spot openings during college registration. Now with that said, I can't even use the program. I'm not sure what's supposed to happen. I downloaded Java 7, downloded the sikulix-1.1.0.1.gem file, moved it to my documents and put it in a new file I created. When I try to open it, I get the "Windows can't open this file. To open this file, Windows needs to know what program you want to use to open it." yada yada yada What am I doing wrong? Do I... need to pick something to open it with? I did go through the brief instructions but tbh I don't know much about this stuff (read: I am stupid) and I think I followed them (but seriously, what is a jar...........?)
