The shots you uploaded are useless, because the size of the probe images
do not fit with the screenshot, where they should be found.
Forget about the two settings:
- lower MinTargetSize
- lower MinSimlarity
the first one does not have any effect at all.
good shots are found with a score >0.9.
So lowering the MinSimilarity only increases the chance for false positives.
A good shot should concentrate on the distinguishing parts and have as
little background as possible.
The first shot has some black pixels at the edges, that are not seen on the
screenshot.
With a complete dialog box as shot, the edges should stay inside the box
borders.
Generally searches are faster the smaller the region that is searched in.
So if you know the position of the dialog box, you should use an appropriate
smaller region.
