Jim Rudakewiz confirmed that the question is solved:
The new build fixed my problem for the java crash. I also loaded
SikuliX with options 1 and 3 selected as that is how I normally load the
tool, and it also loaded and then functioned fine through a quick test.
One further build issue, the tesseract library version 3.02 does not
actually install a libtesseract.so . To get around this, I simply
create a libtesseract.so which was a copy of the libtesseract_api.so
library which does contain the elements required by the
libVisionProxy.so library.
As requested, I will email you the setup logfile.
