Question #260757 on Sikuli changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/260757

    Status: Open => Answered

RaiMan proposed the following answer:
Ok, fine - welcome back on the first layer ;-)

--1: under development and may discontinue in future
where did you read that? I did not find the word "discontinue" anywhere on the
page http://sikulix.com

--2. version 1.1.0 is the latest version
… and is recommended to be used (download the nightly build)
… and it is still prefinal, but the Java API is stable
… and will surely have bug fix releases 1.1.x the next 12 months after being
final released the next days.
… and has the big advantage (among other vital improvements) to be the first
version that can be used in Maven as dependency

--3. some information on how to use version 1.1.0 in Java programming:
http://sikulix-2014.readthedocs.org/en/latest/faq/030-java-dev.html

In general: for version 1.1.0+ ALWAYS start here http://sikulix.com and follow
the provided links.
Links and information not mentioned here or in dependent areas are deprecated
(no longer valid or no longer supported)

One more thing:
The net (besides this forum) reveals tons of information and code snippets if
you search with the word sikuli.
And especially for Java programming stackoverflow.com is always a good place
(with own tag sikuli ;-)
