RaiMan proposed the following answer:
issue 1:
currently no solution: OCR has to be taken as is.
If you have a chance to change the font used in the WebUI, you might get better
results with a different or only larger font.
issue 2:
use uprint(p1, p2, p3) instead of print p1, p2, p3, which will print the pN
correctly when containing non-ascii stuff.
