Tim confirmed that the question is solved:
I have a (potentially large) number of apps to test, but while they all
use slightly different versions of the login icon, they are fairly
consistent about text.
It seemed like a good idea to try to take advantage of that consistent
text, without having to capture a unique image for each one.
It also seemed worth checking whether this was expected behaviour, given
that the other app also uses Tesseract 3.
