Searched on Google but don't find any luck on it . Let me explain the issue ,
starting with system configuration . I have a system ARM64 with Ubuntu kernel
Linux ubuntu 3.13.0-44.44-generic . Why I use this image instead of Linux
ubuntu 3.13.0-44-generic is that Linux ubuntu 3.13.0-44.44-generic support
ILP32. I would like to install system profiling/monitoring tool 'perf'. Its
fails to install
WARNING: perf not found for kernel 3.13.0-44.44
You may need to install the following packages for this specific kernel:
linux-tools-3.13.0-44.44-generic
linux-cloud-tools-3.13.0-44.44-generic
You may also want to install one of the following packages to keep up to date:
linux-tools-generic
linux-cloud-tools-generic
I could not find both packages linux-cloud-tools-3.13.0-44.44-generic ,
linux-cloud-tools-generic , after Kernel update. I found only
linux-cloud-tools-common. I install it but still it fails.
One main reason I found is perf is disabled in ubuntu 3.13.0-44.44-generic
