RaiMan proposed the following answer:
You are running Java 6.
The mentioned function java.lang.System.lineSeparator() is only
supported since Java 7 (I did not realise that).
Since with 1.1.x I want to be compatible with Java 6, I accept this as a bug.
Will be fixed in the nightly tomorrow.
If it is no problem for you, then you might install Java 7.
