This depends on what you can do with the macro software.
if it can replay mouse and keyboard actions:
have the IDE open with the script in question and trigger the run button
(ctrl-R)
if it can issue command line execution:
you might run a script from command line (with this extra startup time of about
3-5 seconds for Python scripts)
