I'll do my best to test it. Currently every object in my framework will
use this init method with some kind of derivative of a Region...
sometimes a Region, sometimes a Match, sometimes my own objects. I'm
not sure what else would go into testing it as I don't know much about
the Jython/Java layer specifics.
