This feature is planned for version 2.

previous lines
... not really for more complex situations.
If I would be in your situation, I would use the Python function or even class
feature together with modules to structure my code in already tested and
runnable pieces.
This will give you much more options, to select and decide, what should run
generally or in a special case.
