RaiMan proposed the following answer:
pressing Fn is not supported by the underlying Java.
But I doubt that it is needed.
Already tried
CMD + SHIFT + Fn + DOWN ARROW
as
type(Key.DOWN, Key.CMD + Key.SHIFT)
