RaiMan proposed the following answer: the approach is principally ok, but you should use exists(friendA, 0) to avoid waiting 3 seconds for friend-images currently not visible on screen. BTW: I do not want to discourage you, but what you want to do is a very complex task doing this visually with SikuliX. Latest when you get frustrated by the weak OCR feature, you will look for other options.
