Here is a solution I came up with using AutoIt Script (free). Run this
script before beginning Sikuli's script.
Sleep(5000)
While True
If WinActive("[CLASS:SunAwtFrame]") Then ; Check if Notepad is currently
active.
;Sikuli is Active (error)
Sleep(2000)
Send("^r")
Sleep(2000)
Else
;Sikuli is Inactive & Running script
ContinueLoop
EndIf
Sleep(5000)
WEnd
