RaiMan proposed the following answer:
may be a timing problem: insert some wait(0.5) or even longer
make sure, that in the second case and later something is selected to be copied
to the CB by ctrl-c.
Since this is very special, I have to leave you alone with that problem
(internally these are simply standard Java features, nothing special).
