RaiMan proposed the following answer:
tess4j is not the problem. It is bundled with SikuliX.
The problem comes from the tesseract library.
As mentioned in the link, tesseract 4.0.0 does not work, it must be a
version 4.1.x.
At the link there is an example, that was tested, to get a version 4.1.0
