Finally I can confirm the problem.
- it happens deep down in the Tess4J/Tesseract API implementation
- it only happens on Windows
The function Tesseract.doOCR() simply does not return (hence SikuliX
scriptrun hangs).
The problem is now tracked on GitHub.
