There was a podcast from Radio National about the issue, and there were plenty of callers supporting it. GNW usually takes a liberal (in the true sense) perspective. No big difference from the perspective of most tech people, it seems, nor the Greens. I'm guessing there's pretty strong support in the 'working families'/bible-belt/web- ignorant parents - what was Howard's stronghold, and is now pretty happy with Rudd. We've still got a fair way to go before convincing them of the futility of this legislation.
