Hi David, I've been through the process with Argo Partners. I can also highly recommend John Haining and his company, MJA Associates as advisors under your COMET grant should you be awarded one. They gave me invaluable advice re an R&D Tax Concession (if you have total R&D spend of > $20K in a year). Your accountant is unlikely to have any experience with the R&D Tax Concession. (Well, mine didn't & it kinda surprised me).
If you can shoot me a couple of sentences on your business I'll forward it to Richard. He's very thorough.......I know some guys who ended up getting decent funding who he knocked back. He interviewed my CTO, my patent attorney, plus a professional referee or two. But if you have your ducks in a row, he's a good guy to work with........... eg he intro'd me to some quality business advisors with experience & contacts in my space. Cheers, Andrew.
