I'm not sure that Google Analytics will provide much competitor info - or
did I miss something.

You may like to see what you can glean from quantcast.com & Alexa.com. Both
free services. They will not be 100% accurate but should give you a good
idea of your competitors reach.

Comscore.com are another alternative to Hitwise.

You can see how successfull you competitors are with respect to SEO by
typing the following into the google search query box.

links:www.competitor-domain.com
sites:www.competitor-domain.com

I can't quite remember the difference between the two though.. maybe someone
can remind me.
