I don't think I've mentioned Trampoline on this list before - and given we're preparing for #4 and the people who populate this list, that's definitely a mistake on my part. For those who haven't heard of it, it's a cross-discipline unconference where people share what they find amazing. We've had a fantastic range of topics in the past - discussions on whether the first 1000-year-old human has been born, intergenerational learning, the future of health/education/media, juggling and salsa lessons, how to beatbox, and open-source beyond tech are just a handful of examples. http://trampolineday.com The first few were at Donkey Wheel House in the city, but we're shifting to Circus Oz's training space in Port Melbourne this time so we can fit a few more people in. September 26th is the date, and tickets are free, but not available until August 26th at 10AM.
