The VC at UoW is fully supportive of entrepreneurial activities so it'll be pretty easy to get something rolling there. I've spoken to a few people (including the VC) about the possibility of an "Entrepreneurs Club" and it'll fly if we can get the students engaged. At UoW (at least) the club will probably need to be cross- discipline (cross faculty) which is likely the biggest challenge.
Swinburne Uni had Tom McKaskill in the "Richard Pratt Chair for Entrepreneurship" until he retired. They seem to have been doing this stuff for a while and have a pretty interesting entrepreneurship programme. I am not aware of any startups launching from the programme but I'm sure they're out there. Perhaps they have some wisdom to share? Phil.
