Renai & Elias, Thanks for your thoughts. I have previously thought through the issues that you raised.
1. During the recent global meetups, Jason encouraged people to do make local shows, explicitly mentioning that they can keep rights & revenues (sure, he can always change his mind about this). 2. I've done some MVP & financial modelling & just can't see a way for a viable business in the Australian market. For me its about about meeting people who are doing interesting things and sharing their experience; hence contacting the TWIST guys to ease the friction. Having said that.. something Silicon Beach'ish does indeed makes sense. rgds, - matt.
