Now that the silly season is upon us and everyone heads to the real silicon and surf, thought I'd reflect on some stereotypes
Eutrepreneurial Heaven is an Australian manager, American sales, Indian developer, chinese worker and European negotiator Entrepreneurial Hell is a chinese manager, Australian sales, US worker, indian negotiator and european developer Feel free to nominate your own title & ethnic group but one client noted that a Swiss programmer cost him 200k euros a year. In another real-world example, one chinese factor owner has managed (in spite of chinese labor laws) to deliberately withhold 2 months worker's salary and I was physically present when he verbally abused his immediate staff. I don't have anything against Indians negotiatiors just it was the last empty slot. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Silicon Beach Australia mailing list.
