Hi Sri, A few companies/labs have been pushing to make spray-on solar cells (solar paint technologies) viable. Cars are one of the candidate uses. I wish they'd hurry up; on a hot day it could keep your car's aircon running while you're at the beach. Nice.
Laying long black heat-absorbing roads with a material that converts that energy into something useful is a great idea too.
