exactly my point ... we all use tech/tools to extent so is adding
technologist as noun a subtle form of agism?

So the difference is using the tools v engineering them? No doubt
really important but for a cash-strapped startup, would this type of
role be a once-off (thus suited to advisory board) rather than
permanent staff?
