Hiya Silicon Beach, We are half way through getting our new "pivot" out the door, and we feel semi-qualified to use that word with a straight face. We were planning for a big bang launch, but unfortunately we spent our media budget on a pair of bandicoot socks. We are therefore going to have to settle on awesome content.
If you felt like you could contribute, we agree to nominate you next time your country is selecting a living national treasure. You could totally win. Working blog post title: 50 real life stories of startup founders failing spectacularly, and how they kept going What we want: 1. Between 1 and 3 paragraphs detailing a stupendous failure/stuff up within your startup. What happened, how bad was it? How did you get past it? 2. Your website link 3. Your logo What you get: 1. Link love 2. Google Juice 3. Bing Juice (haha - just kidding. No-one wants that). 4. A warm feeling in the cockels of your heart 5. Promotion to a global audience When do we need a response by? By March 9th would be awesome. Just email [email protected]. What happens if you get more than 50 responses? We will choose the 50 founders/investors with the biggest distribution / most twitter followers / best stories. (or we might run more than 50 - who can tell). And if I don't want to participate? No problem. We are confident you are a happy, carefree, pixie of a fellow, and we won't hold it against you. Any questions, shout out. Cheers, Scott.
