I have become super-interested in Mastodon, if only as the most plausible replacement for Twitter if Elon flies that plane into the side of the mountain. I blogged about it several times and the evidence suggests that lots of other people are interested too: Each piece got way more uptake than my blogs usually do. Another reason the blogs did well is that I promoted them on Mastodon, of course :)
