This may be a legal requirement, but it does not mean that justice will not be
done.

Where are the lawyers?

Until recently (in India) doctors could be arrested and held on the basis of a
complaint if a patient died.

If Irving has seemingly committed a crime that warrants arrest under Austrian
law he can be "held" - but that "holding" can be reversed when the process of
law takes its course. It may not be fair - but changing unfair laws is a
different matter. Maybe this case will set a precedent.

Is it possible that he was arrested for stupidity in not assessing the
temperature of the water he was getting into?
