We spent most of the first night at the FoU camp [1] last year
talking about something highly similar - the need to get off the
roundabout in some meaningful way. It was interesting that almost all
of us present had somewhat non-standard career paths.
Bernhard was in a corner, taking notes. I haven't heard him comment
on that, but I imagine his reactions would be of interest. Bernhard?
